We are grateful to those who have put their trust in us since 1991. If you are a previous patient, your records have been transferred to our colleague and friend, Dr. Randall Lum.

Lum Optometry is located at 2278 Westborough Blvd. #204 (next to Philz Coffee & Paris Baguette in Westborough Square) in South San Francisco, just a short drive south on Highway 280. Dr. Lum is a VSP Premier practice with over 1,000 designer frames in office.

We understand that your first visit to the eye doctor can feel overwhelming and we try to accommodate all new patients with a comfortable and organized facility.

Our staff has taken steps to prepare you for the first appointment by providing a full spectrum of the services we offer and the option to complete our new patient form prior to your visit. Our goal is to cover everything you need with a full and efficient assessment, but without waiting to see the doctor.

Meet Dr. Randall Lum

Dr. Lum is a graduate of Santa Clara University (major in Biology & minor in Psychology) and the University of California Berkeley School of Optometry (Bachelor of Science in Physiological Optics & Doctorate of Optometry).

He is a member of The American Optometric Association, California Optometric Association, San Mateo County Optometric Society and the California Optometric Laser Associates. Dr. Lum is also a member of the Daly City, Colma and South San Francisco Chambers of Commerce. Dr. Lum has worked as a consultant for Johnson & Johnson Vision Care Inc. (Vistakon/Acuvue) and a guest speaker for Vision Service Plan (VSP). Dr. Lum has been practicing in the Bay Area for the past 24 years and our practice has been serving the San Mateo Pennisula and South San Francisco since 1977.
